In the first game of the night the Rogers Lady Mounties took on the Springdale Lady Bulldogs. Springdale entered the game with an overall record of 3-19 overall and 0-8 in 6A West Conference play. The Rogers Lady Mounties came into the game with an overall record of 9-8 overall and 4-3 in 6A West Conference play. The first quarter started off well for Springdale leading 14-11 after one. Freshmen Aubriana Wilson and Adriana Hernandez woud lead Springdale with 5 points each. Rogers was led by Junior Aubrey Treadwell with 6 points. In the second quarter it would remain close, but Rogers would gain control and hold a slim lead 30-23 at half. In the second half Rogers would ultimately win the game 64-39. Rogers leading scorers were Aubrey Treadwell with 15 points and senior Abigail Harris with 14 points. Springdale was led by Adriana Hernandez with 17 points. Rogers improves to 10-8 overall 5-3 in 6A West Conference play. Springdale drops to 3-20 overall and 0-9 in 6A West Conference play. Rogers and Springdale will meet again in Rogers on Friday. In the second game of the night the Springdale Bulldogs faced the Rogers Mounties in 6A West Conference action. Rogers came into the game with an overall record of 7-13 overall and 3-5 in 6A West Conference play. Springdale would counter with an overall record of 15-5 overall and 6-2 in 6A West Conference play. Springdale got off to a fast start leading 9-0 early and held a 11-6 lead after one quarter. Springdale’s leading scorer in the first quarter was senior Connor Mills with 6 points. Rogers held a slim 22-18 lead after the second quarter. Rogers was led in the 2nd quarter with 5 points from sophomore Graycen Cash. Springdale’s leading scorer in the second quarter was junior Tevin Tate with 4 points. Rogers would close out the game 45-36 behind 10 points from sophomore Graycen Cash. Springdale’s leading scorer was Isaiah Sealy with 13 points. Rogers improves to 8-13 overall and 4-5 in 6A West conference play. Springdale moves to 15-6 overall and 6-3 in 6A West conference play.
